Is it possible for every window I decide to open, no matter what it be, to open only as big as it needs to be? It seems when I open one, there is a scroll bar for left to right. Cant this be eliminated to where I never have to scroll left or right, without having a full size window?

You're just talking about the Finder, right? From memory, you can change the size of a new window by opening said window, resizing it, closing it and then opening it again. I think that's how it's done, but am probably wrong as usual. :(

Otherwise, just get into the habit of slamming down the curser on that green bubble in the top left corner. :)

No, I am talking every and any window. I would have thought after the initial 'sizing', it would then open to the perfect size everytime. Maybe OS X isnt that intuitive yet.
