I have a 2014 5k imac (m290x). set up with the following configuration of monitors:
The large screen is my 5k screen, the smaller one is a 1080p screen that I use for videos and a general dumping ground... (The screen configuration matches the physical arrangement).
When I boot into windows, my windows desktop occupies the left hand portion of the 5k display, and the right most portion is black. To be honest, I'm not sure what's going on with my 1080p display. I guess I'll take a photo if that would be helpful.
When I physically disconnect the 1080p display, everything returns to normal.
Apparently windows wants to treat my 5k display as two separate screens-- logically joined together, somewhat around these lines:
( again, I should probably photograph the screen)
so, it seems like somebody at apple or ati is using eyeInfintity to solve some sort of 5k imac issue, and they haven't debugged the edge cases...
anybody have a clue as to what's going on?
[doublepost=1512442392][/doublepost]more weirdness
I should note that windows text seems extra tall and skinny.
