In previous versions (not sure of earlier 12betas) I was able to plug the iPhone into my computer and navigate to the DCIM folder and drag and drop images or videos to my hard drive. Now when I open the iPhone in Windows it doesn't show any internal folders. Is this a new "feature" in 12 or is it a bug?
Also I am not able to use the Import feature in Windows as it doesn't see any pictures available.

No problem here with Beta 6 on my iPhone 8 Plus and my iPad Pro... With both devices connected to either my desktop or my Laptop, both running Windows 10 (lastest version).
I can access the device via Explorer and drag photos from the DCIM folder(s) of the devices.

Maybe you have to "trust" that PC again? Do you get a message on your iPhone when connecting it to your PC?

After reloading my backup it did ask me to trust the phone which I did. I can see the phone in explorer just not the subfolders.
