Windows 7 64-bit on 13" Macbook

Has anyone successfully installed Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on a 13" Macbook (not a pro). I upgraded to Snow Leopard and have followed a couple of tutorials online to install Windows 7, but each time I run into the same problem. When the Windows DVD is booting, all I see is a blinking cursor.

What if anything have I done incorrect or overlooked?

Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

i got both to install but there is no driver support....supposedly even though all the hardware is techinically the same performance wise there was a small "upgrade" on the logic/motherboard to all 64-bit windows to operate properly in bootcamp....fyi 64 vista works fine via parallels for me (same macbook as you)

Okay, got Windows 7 64 bit install same macbook as you. SL will not install bootcamp for windows something about only being 32bit. I install graphic card drivers from nvidia website and realtek sound since i have external speakers hooked up.

I was told that I needed to manually install 64bit drivers everything works great except apple wired keyboard number pad and hitting buttons will raised the volume or mute it.

To install 64bit drivers from snow leopard dvd do the following:

Insert Snow Leopard dvd
Assuming the dvd drive is the 'D' drive, open start menu type 'cmd' when the 'command prompt' short cut shows up right click it and choose 'run as administrator'

In the command window type:
D:
cd Boot Camp\Drivers\Apple\
BootCamp64.exe

The Boot camp installer should run and install the drivers. Enjoy!
