Windows 7 and bootcamp issues

I installed the RC1 and everything was working good except for a few issues:

1. The optical light is always "ON" on the headphone hole only on Win 7 but not Leopard. How do you get rid of that?
2. Keyboard light would not turn off at the lowest setting. Sound is not as loud as well. I downloaded the latest Realtek audio driver and it's still the same.
3. 9600m GT is always on. I would like to use 9400m instead since it saves battery.

Hopefully the real version will fix this issues on Windows side. On Mac side, hope the Snow Leopard does.

Did you put your original Leopard DVD in and install the windows stuff off it?

Did you install the Boot Camp drivers from the Leopard DVD? Did you then update to Boot Camp 2.1 (from Boot Camp 2.0)?

The optical light thing should go away after installing the audio drivers. You'll probably need to install the audio driver from this site after installing the Boot Camp drivers (click the one called HD audio codecs). You should install the Realtek driver AFTER installing Boot Camp. The keyboard light is a problem that has been around forever. That's just a bad on Apple's part. XP, Vista, Win7, they all have that issue.

All in all, the current drivers for Boot Camp are pathetic at best mainly due to their age. Snow Leopard will fix all this though.

Yup, i did what was needed. After installing Win 7, i ran the Leopard DVD and since i have the newest macbook pro, i assumed that it has Bootcamp 2.1.
Then i installed the Realtek driver, the current one, and after all that, the light is still on.... Maybe i have to redo everything again?

So the steps are, just to make it clear:
Partition drive
Install Win 7
Install Leopard DVD
Install Realtek driver HD
