Howdy!
I recently obtained an early 2006 iMac 17" Core 2 Duo, 2GHZ Processor, 1.5GB RAM, 160GB Hard drive.

I was looking into using bootcamp with the computer, and saw that this model was apparently not supported with Windows 7.

I have a copy of Windows 7 ready to use, and am frustrated that I am told that I am unable to use it, especially seeing as my Mac laptop with similar specs is able to.

What is the reason for the iMac not being supported with Windows 7, and would there be any way around it, to install to 32-bit version?

Thank you very much.

I've had the Windows 7 RC on my old iMac Core Duo at various times. ATI doesn't support anything before the HD 2xxx line though under Windows 7.
