Windows 7 on a MacBook 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (13-inch Black) Late 2007 Model

Anyone tried it? Does it work o.k.? Should I download the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

I installed it a few days ago on the exact same machine and it works really well. I even installed in on parallels and it still runs like a dream. Very impressed with software especially in comparison to Vista. You should have no problems.
Oh and download the 32bit versions and i had 4GB of ram in my MacBook which you can also do for like £40 from http://www.crucial.com/uk. Easy as hell to install.

lucamacis, I have 4GB of RAM as well, and a 320GB WD 7200RPM HDD. How much RAM and HDD space did you devote to Windows 7?

64-bit. Don't you want to get the most out of your machine? 32-bit OS's are dead. 98% of 32-bit apps work perfectly in Windows 64-bit, and the few that don't yet are just due to terrible developers. The biggest issue currently is whether you have 64-bit drivers for you Mac, since Apple, being the awesome company that they are, do not support certain "older" Macs with 64-bit drivers even though said "older" Macs could run a 64-bit OS just fine.
On my 250GB HDD, I usually devote 70 GB to Windows (and end up having a lot left over).
I installed Windows 7 x64 on my Macbook 2.2Ghz last night. I've only given it 20GB space though, so after the install i think i have around 10GB free.
Runs pretty well, but if i was using BootCamp i'd imagine it would run even better.
I've also got Windows Vista Ultimate x64 installed and that's much slower than Windows 7.

I wanted to have the 64 bit version but i presumed that i wouldn't work with parallels so went for the 32 bit. My main drive needs hard core partitioning which is why i chose not to use boot camp even though i would of preferred too.
@kDum - I made it so that the drive is 'expanding' in parallels and gave 2gb of ram. I wont be using Windows much but i was very much curious about Windows 7. Runs really well even on the limited resources that i had given it.
