Windows 7 on External Drive

We have a how to on installing XP on an external drive, but we don't have one for Vista or Windows 7.

Does anyone have an easy walkthrough on installing Vista and/or Windows 7 on an external HDD?

i think its possible ive seen guides but you just wouldnt want to

seriously im not scared of messing with stuff on my machine but windows external boot and triple boot and that stuff is just in teh stevenesses words a bag o hurt

an update to bootcamp with proper fan control and multiboot and stuff would be nice....
