I just ran into this issue and found a solution. Figured I'd share as I found no mention of this on the web.
I'm installing Windows 7 64 bit on a Macbook Pro Aluminum Unibody 15" using the latest boot camp update.
After the installer restarts, during the final phase of the setup, I saw that my time was way off and my year was 2099 or 2999. I changed this during the setup at the first screen where a clock is presented.
When I got to the part of the install where you activate, my activation failed. I got a message about my evaluation period having expired. After that , windows 7 ran in "lockdown" mode where I kept getting counterfeit software messages and I couldn't enable Aero.
I figured this had to do with the clock. I found a way on the web to reset activation periods. In the start menu find "cmd" right click on it, run as administrator. Then run "slmgr.vbs -rearm". I am not sure how long this will help. On the web this was used to extend the Vista period by 30 days, and only worked 3 times. I'm hoping this will reboot the Windows 7 countdown to it's normal period, which should last until this summer.
