Hey guys I managed to successfully install windows 7 32 bit on the imac with all drivers. I thought I should post this as I couldn't find any information on how to install the audio drivers, and how to get the magic mouse scrolling functions to work.
Here is how I got everything installed.

For all files you use before installing them you must right click on them then properties then compatibility,
check the run this program in compatibility mode for windows vista service pack 2

For video nvidia
install bootcamp/drivers/nvidia/nvidiagraphicsmobilevista32/setup.exe

For audio
install bootcamp/drivers/cirrus/cirrusaudiovista32.exe

For chipset drivers
install bootcamp/drivers/nvidia/nvidiachipsetvista32/setup.exe

Install all the software/drivers that is in bootcamp/drivers/apple BUT if you are using windows 7
NOT THE FOLLOWING BOOTCAMP.msi because your oamputer will freeze

For the bluetooth download and install the drivers from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL952

Can you further explain this? I am a newbie to mac! :)

you must use the 1st dvd you got with the mac. when you are in windows open it and you will see the folders there

I just installed the whole lot. The fact I'm posting this message is a testament to the fact it "just works."

Apart from the slightly quirky bluetooth, I can't see any issues. I even had Flashpoint running at full resolution with 4xAA and 8xAF in high detail and did the first mission... not the smoothest framerate in the world but playable enough for me.

Sadly I've realised that I prefer gaming on the Xbox, my mouse fu has gone.

Now installing 3dMark06.

I am looking to do the same thing windows 32 bit this weekend, is everything still running OK?

Win 7 has been running very well on Boot Camp for months now. I'm baffled why you guys waste your time/money on a 32 bit next gen OS - especially for higher end machines that will fully take advantage of 64 bits not only now but more and more every day?
