There are a few questions I have before I decide to go out and buy Windows 7 for my macbook. I am currently running XP thanks to Boot Camp and I've heard it's possible to do the same with 7. But which version of windows 7 do I buy? There are the 32 bit versions and the 64 bit versions and I'm not sure which ones are compatible with my Macbook (maybe both are, but after reading through the Boot Camp manual the Windows XP has to be the 32 bit version so I'm just a bit concerned... no pun intended). My macbook is the Late 2008 version, so the specs are:
Front side bus: 800MHz
Processor: 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (T8100)
Memory: 1 GB (two 512 MB) 667 MHz PC2-5300 - (Expandable to 4 GB)
Graphics: Intel GMA X3100 using 144 MB RAM
HD: 120 GB
I've heard some people have managed to install this on iMac's however those are a lot more powerful than my simple macbook. I only have 1GB of RAM and after reading a lot on the internet I need 3GB (which I'm confused about any explanations for that would help ). By the sounds of things it doesn't look like I can run it any answers to my questions or personal experiences ?
P.S. Any online guides found to installing Windows 7 (not the beta version) on a Macbook would be greatly appreciated to
Thanks in advance.
