Windows activation!!! Help

I have my windows vista ultimate installed through bootcamp and I activated it. After that, I download the vmware fusion and run vista. But the problem is that it is asking me to activation my windows in 2 days and I have already activated. What should I do now?

Bootcamp and vista are two different hardware sets, I believe you have to activate again...

I already activated my windows through bootcamp. In vmware fusion, I cannot reactivate with the same key

Just reactivate

Just activate again, that's what I did. And it was fine. I did the same thing as you did - I installed Vista through Boot Camp, then afterwards I installed Fusion. Through Fusion I ran Vista off of the Boot Camp partition and it asked me to reactivate so I did. No problems whatsoever.

So try it. If it doesn't work, the worst that will happen is that you will have to call MS to activate and that shouldn't be a problem either.

Select to activate by phone and tell them you're running in a VM.
