I was wondering, I already have a partition of windows but I dont want to use any more space of my Hard Drive, so if I just plugged in an External Hard Drive, would it come up in XP? (Without having to make a whole new partition or anything).
Thanks.

I don't think so. The way the BIOS works, I don't think USB devices wake up. So, I guess the answer is no.

Que?

In Boot Camp you are essentially on a PC that looks like a Mac, so when you plug in a USB external drive formatted in FAT32 or NTFS you can use it natively. I have a Maxtor drive I use for moving video back and forth and it works fine in Boot Camp XP on the iMac.

Now booting on the external without the internal partition is a different story, since Windows doesn't support booting on removable USB devices.
