I am finding intermittent problems with office for mac.
Mostly everything is running ok but the odd time say one in ten times of opening Word,Excel,Powerpoint when I try to shut them down they just sit there with the beachball of death spinning. Everything else works fine but I end up having to force quit these applications!
I am running a MBP 2GHZ 2GB RAM 100GB @7200RPM.
Anyone have any ideas??

You are talking about the Mac version office and not the windows version, correct?

In that case, it's because Rosetta sucks.

a better place
This section is for Windows operating system running on an intel mac with bootcamp and all subsequent posts therin are meant to be about that.

What you have is Microsoft Office for Mac, which is running on Mac operating system and is a Mac Application and has Nothing to do with Windows.

The section you need is called Mac Applications as that is what you are having trouble with.

It's no worries to us, but you'll find you get more helpful posts subsequently if you post the original thread in the correct directory.
