I am running Windows 10 through bootcamp on an external drive and I wanted to know if there will be any performance issues expected when I eventually upgrade to Catalina OS?

If you're booting to Windows, the macOS version should not matter, right?

Mine is running on a separate PCIE eSata drive and it works fine.

VMware has trouble mounting it under Catalina with modified VMDL file as indicated by their KB (SIP access issues.)
This works fine under Mojave.

I have bootcamp in El Capitan. Will there be a problem to bootcamp if i upgrade to os catalina?
