Windows boots with bluescreen

Hey guys (my fisrt post hurray )

I have a problem with my windows partition. Every time it boots the blue beam stops in the middle and a blue screen appears, which I can't read because it disappeares too fast . And than the computer reastarts again. I also tried the safe mode but it didn't help either. So my question is: Can I fix windows from my mac partition?

Probably not.

It'd help tremendously if you could read what the bluescreen says.

You could try using a Windows disc and repairing the existing installation.

As soon as you select Windows to boot into, hit F8 and keep hitting it. It will bring up a prompt. There should be a selection for "Safe Mode." Select it.

If you can get into it, then that's good. If not, then you may need to reformat (delete the boot camp partition, recreate it, and reinstall).

If you can get into Safe Mode, follow these instructions:

Then restart into XP normally. You should then be able to read the blue screen. After reading it, please tell us what it says.

most blue screens in windows are due to memory or video errors. Did you upgrade ram or change video cards by chance? also, were there any driver updates to that video card lately? These are the most common. Watch the screen about 2 inches below the upper left corner and see if you can catch a quick glimpse of the error. If you see IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL or PAGE FAULT IN A NON PAGED AREA this is a good indication of memory.

Well, Windows is living up to its reputation still! Ask yourself, do you REALLY need it?
