Windows Client slow connection to OS X Server 10.6.8?

Hi,

i have tried many things but i cant seem to be able to fix this. I have a OSX Server on a Mac Mini and my clients are mostly IMAC's with Parallels and Windows XP to. I have no choice to use Windows because of my accounting software...

When i my accounting software trying to connect to the server's data just identifying the username in the software takes about 20 seconds... i have no idea why it is sooo slow and how can i change this!

My OS X Server version 10.6.8 4gb and 2 x 500gb disks!

Somebody can help me?

How much RAM in these iMacs? How much is allocated to the VMs?

How much RAM in these iMacs? How much is allocated to the VMs?

Some of them have 4gb and some 8gb total memory... VM in parallels is 1GB allocated memory.
