Guys - I connected my iphone 13 to windows but don't see all pics & videos. I've had this phone for a year but the only folders I see within This PC\Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\ are these:
202201_ - only 1 .mov file
202205_ - 87 heic and mov files
202206_ 5 heic and mov files

It seems like it's not showing me anything prior to May to copy/paste. How do I fix this?

Thanks

It only gives me a single message on the phone - 'allow this device to access photos & videos'
I chose 'allow' and there was no other prompt. I tried this on 2 computers and one of the computer has itunes and all apple drivers installed on the computer too

Same issue persists. Anything else I can try? I haven't noticed this behavior on my other iphone pro max 13 (just my regular iphone 13)

Thanks

In its case.
If your goal is to copy photos from the 13 to the PC, I would use Google Photos. 1 - Install Google Photos on the 13; 2 - Allow it to upload all the photos, and have a cup of coffee/relax while its doing the sync; 3 - Go to Google Photos on your Chrome browser; 4 - download. It takes some work and patience, but it’s not cryptic. I wish Apple made it as easy as Android to do a simple copy/paste from the Eye Phone to a PC, but they don’t listen to me lol

I may get a macbook. Is it possible and easy to move all pictures over in a macbook and to they get imported over as HEIC files. Can I then delete all the pictures on the phone to free up space?

Thanks
