There is a windows error.. typical... i have the latest macbook pro and unfortunately i have to run windows on it. so i have downloaded the latest boot camp version 1.4 and set everything up properly then it got to the final stage of installation and an error came up saying 'FATAL ERROR - a component of windows XP could not be installed' or something like that.

i have a legit version of windows xp pro SP2

i have also updated my mac with any new firmware or updates.

WHAT DO I DO!?

thanks :apple:

The error isn't really detailed enough to pinpoint the problem.

My first suggestion would be to try a different XP Pro SP2 disc.
