Hi,

I am going to restore to HD to a single partition ready to upgrade to Leopard tomorrow and I want to clone my Windows partition on to my external. What free program should I use to do this?

Thanks.

P.S: I am aware that you can upgrade the beta to the final but I'd rather do a complete re-install.

Do you just want to store the backup or use windows from the external hdd?
if you just want to backup and restore your windows partition use winclone, but it only works with ntfs partitions. I used it when i replaced my hdd in my mbp, it worked perfectly and i even could change size of my bootcamp partition :D

Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but I gave WinClone a try today, but it can only seem to backup to an image; is there any way of cloning straight to another drive? I don't mind doing it through Windows or a live cd.

Thanks.
