I bought a 22" iMac on the 29th.
Anyways on Monday, i downloaded Windows Live Microsoft Messenger.
Once everything was set up, i tried to sign in. It signed in normally i guess, it toke about 3 mins though. So once it once i thought it was finished, i put my mouse over the windows to see who was online and to chat, but the little spinning beach ball showed up.
All i assumed was that it wasn't finished loading. Now 2 days later it's still like that.
I can't even close it...

So was just wondering how can i unfreez it, or if i should try turning off my computer.
Anything you can suggest that may help me?

Also this is the first time ever owning a mac.

First off all there is no 22" iMac, only 20" and 24" and you will need to force quit which you can do by clicking the  in the top left and selecting force quit then a window will appear and you will select Windows Live messenger and then click force quit and it will quit the application so that you can relaunch it.

Hope this helps and congrats on the Mac. Also I suggest you use a different program for windows live, such as adium, because microsoft apps normally suck on the mac.
