Am I right in thinking that the biggest problem with installing media center on an Apple machine using boot camp is that it is a multi disk install? I have a copy of MCE around here that I'm tempted to try using via burning onto a single DVD rather than the 2 CD's it comes on.

Basically has anyone managed to get MCE of windows installed via bootcamp?

Can the media centre additions not be added onto an xp sp2 install afterwards?

Also is there any driver set I can get my EyeTV Wonder USB2 to run on a pc ?

My bad - must confess I didn't think to search :(

Well here's a follow up for you guys anyway.

We've got two owned copies of windows around the house

Windows MCE 2005
Windows XP Pro

Both of which I know can be installed on a Macbook which is cool.

Until recently the MCE was installed on a desktop PC which has just been retired so it's no longer in use.

The Pro is still installed on my Macbook.

What I want to do is remove the XP Pro from my Macbook and install it on my brother's machine while putting the MCE onto my own macbook. Is this possible within the terms of the EULA? Thinking activation primarily.

while i'm sure there is a way to get it done, i feel it is important to note that Apple doesn't support running Windows MCE.

from their website (what you'll need): A bona fide installation disc for Microsoft Windows XP, Service Pack 2, Home or Professional (No multi-disc, upgrade or Media Center versions.)

Yeah, the lack of support doesn't particularly bother me at this point - as Apple don't really support Boot camp as a whole with it being Beta software :)

Has anyone around actually done this and got any experience with the system?

No and no. :(

Also the Apple Remote will not function at all.

Well I've got MCE running now :)

Unfortunately I can't get it to connect to my 360 - perhaps because they're both wireless? I don't know
