Everytime i open up a web page that streams videos using DRM i get an error message saying 'Internet Explorer needs to close,' 'Don't Send' etc.

E.g. When i open up Champions League streaming on SkySports.co.uk and ITV.com i get the message saying that Internet Explorer needs to close. Its mostly anything that involves media streaming using Windows Media Player using DRM.

Any help please?

Don't use IE on a Mac. It is ancient.

Don't use Windows Media Player on a Mac. It is ancient.

Instead, use Safari or Firefox and Flip4Mac to play Windows Media files.

Oh, and I don't think you can play DRM'd windows media files on a Mac, but I could be wrong though.

running XP I assume?

have you tried running those sites in FireFox on XP?

here are some DRM & WindowsMedia player faqs:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/drm/faq.aspx

I personally havent had trouble with those sites on IE or FireFox.
But it depends, try making sure you have the latest version of IE, make sure its IE7. Or if IE7 is corrupted you can always roll-back or try using it in "Safe-mode" ( i forgot the correct term used; but its located Start>Programs>Accessories>System if im not mistaken.

To Rollback IE7 just go into Start>Set Program Defaults>Unistall Components

You may also need to update codecs for WindowsMedia, i like the K-Lite codec:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm

or you may need to update or rollback and reinstall WindowsMedia; same process as IE7, then reinstall the newest version available.

goodluck and hope that helped somewhat, if not postback and update if anything else!
