Windows media player using bootcamp

Yesterday I installed XP on my iMac. Everything is working fine except windows media player. I can play music no problem but if I play a video the picture is distorted, I can just make out colours, and there's no sound.

Does anyone have any solution to this please? It's driving me mad.

Install the latest codecs and Media Player updates. Does this happen with all vids?

What version of Media Player is installed? You could also just install iTunes !
