I just checked out GameSpot, and I can stream video using WMP there, so I think it *is* possible. The video took a long time to initially make a connection and begin streaming...more than a minute. But after that, it seemed okay. Do you get the pop-up window with the WMP controls embedded in it, and it fails to connect, or does it try to download a file to your hard disk instead of playing embedded?

In your head.
WMP for Mac doesn’t play all streams that it can on the Windows platform.
Unfortunate but true. It appears to be something about Tiger. There is at least one other thread about it. I do hope that you can get it working.

Wait...so does it not work, or does it take a long time to start streaming? Please explain exactly what it is that you see when you click on a movie from that site. FWIW, not every site that streams using WMP is so slow. But that site took quite a while to acquire a connection.
