Windows MIDI applications on Mac mini

I loaded Win XP on my new Mac mini with boot camp.
I can't get the windows sounds to play, and also have some Windows music software, Cakewalk, Band In A Box and Finale 2008 that won't play MIDI sounds either.
Is it possible to play MIDI files through windows using the Mac Nvidia sound card?
