OK I've had an Intel Mac since August 2007 and the first thing that dawned on me was that I couldnt't play my old school games anymore....which occasionally I like to do e.g Bugdom, Deus Ex, Toy Story, Last revelation, 4x4 Evo ....in fact these games are like a history of my time on a mac since 1999....and very nostalgic to me and my daughter - who grew up on Macs
Now I find as Apple won't support classic (Vista manages to support win 95 games I can prove it) I had to get windows Vista and all my old games for windows and re-boot into vista to play them etc etc
Isn't there something fundamentally wrong going on here? I was a mac devotee now I spend half my time in Vista because Mac won't support my old programmes.....I also find my PPC programmes crash all the time and leave weird desktop effects (truncated menu bar - multiple icons al la stacks)
What's going on apple? Vista actually looks much nicer than Leopard which is dull - Leopard doesn't work very well - I have more crashes than OS9 and I spend half my time in Vista because you don't support OS9
I am very disappointed with the way forward - what works better in Leopard?
