I'm sure this has been discussed before, but with Windows 7 beta out, I think it's more relevant. So are you guys running Vista/7 on your mac via bootcamp because you want to? or need to? I'm wondering how many people buy a mac laptop because it is probably the sleekest, best looking, but still run Windows because they like it better than OSX..

I think Vista is Ok, but I'm really getting into Windows 7. I think it's got the potential to be a great OS and I am digging the new superbar (with jump lists, etc.) But I have a MacBook Pro because I think it's the best looking laptop ever made..

How many of you are with me? Or do you just run Windows because you have one program you have to use on it (like Office 2007, etc?)

I primarly use Windows, because some applications, that i use everyday, don't exists for Mac. And also 100% of all my clients is using Windows, that's why.
And also, hardware-wise with a DSP Windows license, PC is cheaper.

Mac Computers are OK in the US, Canada and some bigger EU countrys, maybe Japan. Here in Eastern Europe, it's simply overprized.

I run Vista in BC because some of the software required for my college classes is IE based only.

That, and it's the only way I can check my work email from home. OWA using CAC login.

I think Windows 7 is nice to play with - see the features etc. but it is only out of curiosity and me being a bit of geek!

There is no program I need that is Windows only so I will stay with OSX - it is far better, both looking and performance wise.
