I've recently started my own internet marketing company. In the past, I've always worked client-side and always ran in a windows environment (XP). I'm now working on a Mac and there are very few SEO-type tools (think WebCEO or WebPosition) that are mac based.

So, for the first time, I'm going to use Bootcamp and install Windows. The question is which version? I can get either XP (Pro) or Vista (Business Ed. or Ultimate Ed.). Will one run better than another? I have a Mac Pro...

The second question is for anyone who might be on the SEO, PPC side of things. How many of the software tools out there ARE NOT Vista compatible?

My inclination is to get Vista (probably Ultimate) but if the software isn't compatible then I'll obviously have to get XP.

I'm not so worried about running the OS as the MP has the horsepower to run any version I choose.

I guess I'm worried that the available SEO tools are not Vista compatible which would force me to use XP.

Anyone know if the bulk of SEO tools out there are Vista compatible?
