hey guys ive had windows 7 on my macbook for about a month now and i just got a problem come up to me, i loged onto my windows just yesterday and i found that it told me i do not have the full version of windows. i have a black screen with white writing on the bottom right saying. (windows 7 build7600 this copy of windows is not genuine) why does this say this and when i log in it tells me i do not have the full genuine version asking me to get it?? ;( what happened to my windows 7
 
When you installed windows it never activated for some reason. There should be an icon in your taskbar harassing you to activate. Or you can right click "my computer" go to properties, then it should have an activation option there.

If the internet activation doesn't work then you will have to call microsoft.. If it is a legit copy of windows then it takes about 5 minutes of you typing in a provided series of numbers, then entering a new set into your computers activation screen.

Isn't that the new version of Windows... or wait no thats the old.... or... uhh....
