Windows trackpad, through Boot Camp

I'm cursed with an early '08 Air, which is apparently becoming increasingly redundant by the day. And Apple's not helping...

They've released a windows, under boot camp, trackpad update, including multitouch and with general improvements. While the new Air is supported, the early '08 one isn't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is a hardware issue.

Anyone know any ways round this limitation?

I think you are talking about the threads right here in this forum that explain how to get the 4 finger multi-touch etc working on the first gen MBA?!?!?

There's no multi-touch in Windows Bootcamp on the MBA. The only update Apple put out was for tap and drag in Windows under Bootcamp.
