Takes about a week to get used to the new interface but all in all OS X is pretty simple. Have a look at the link posted above and maybe go to the support page as well on the apple site, there's plenty of getting started video's there. And if you got a specific question, feel free to post in the mac help and basics forums.

I use both daily.

The mac is more fun to use, no idea why but it just feels more interesting when I'm using it, lots of hidden little bits to make life easier. Like the Finder, it just works well and time machine is sat their ticking away keeping your files safe every hour.

The windows machine is like a rough, fast and occasional grumpy tool that gets the job done but when it has a brain fart it can hold your days work to ransom.

Keep using the Mac, follow some guides on Mavericks to discover all those little tricks to make your life easier and it becomes a pleasure to use.

The only thing I find difficult when switching between them is the Apple keyboard has spread out keys and the windows keyboard doesn't so its like typing for the first time until I get used to it again, about 20 mins of typing.

I've got so used to using both over 20 plus years that I don't really think about it any more. Command= win flag key and most of the other shortcuts combinations are very similar. Command Q to close apps on the mac instead of alt-f4 for windows. Unless it's Windows 8/8.1 which is a pita compared to 7 and only installed on a drive in the test rig!

Initially 20 something years ago yes :p

I now use both (macs and home, PCs at work) and I still sometimes use cntl-c on my mac instead of cmd-c.

Most of the conventions will come with time and you'll get used to the platform as you work with it however :)
