I have a few issues with device support I thought I ping this community about:

1) Wireless Adapater doesn't show up in Device Manager (and doesn't work of course)
2) iSight, Network Controller and Performance counters all have (i) issues in Device Manager (update driver online doesn't work)
3) Resolution maxes out at 1280x800 (me thinks this is because it thinks the monitor is a generic PnP monitor)

Any ideas on where to get the proper drivers? I did the bootcamp stuff using the latest and greatest with the new MacOS.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The resolution of the MacBook's monitor is 1280x800. That's the native resolution.

All of the hardware in the MacBook is addressed by using the drivers CD you burn during the Boot Camp process, can't help you any further if they're buggering around. Are you using the most current version of Boot Camp?

Cool, just remember, the stuff Boot Camp does to your Mac is designed to run Windows XP SP2 not Vista so there may some problems with driver support and the general procedure.

Seems as though you've got it all working so that's good.

Are you sure the iSight is working ? I don't think anyone has got it working under Vista RTM at this time (myself included).

Also, have you managed to get full trackpad functionality ? Including the scroll and right click ? As again I can't get that to work on my Macbook..

I've got everything else to work though (BT/Wireless/Sound etc.)

I have my iSight working under Windows vista on a C1D Macbook Black.

http://blog.chromaticrain.com/ the newest post explains installing various drivers on windows vista. The iSight is one of the most diffucult to get working however.

Mind if I ask how you got BT working on a C2D? I've not been able to get mine working in XP, let alone Vista!

Sound drivers for Vista Enterprise Build 6002

I thought this might be the place where I can finally seek some help in getting my audio working in my MacBook Pro running Vista Enterprise.

I tried the Realtek drivers from BootCamp to no avail...

FYI, this is the first series Intel-based MacBook Pro 17".

Thanks so much in advance!
