Windows Vista & Fusion - CORRECT ORDER?

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I'm in the middle of installing Windows Vista Ultimate and Fusion and wanted to make sure I was doing everything correct.

Here is what I have done so far
1) Ran BootCamp Assistant
2) Created a 50GB partition for Windows
3) Installed Windows Vista Ultimate

Right now, I am on Vista in Internet Explorer and posting this thread. What steps must I take from here in order to install VMWare Fusion?

I've heard of so many problems regarding doing everything in the correct order that I am a little nervous.

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes. Fusion (and its competitor, Parallels) runs in OS X, and runs independently of any Windows installation that may be present. It has the capability to start the Windows installation that is on the Boot Camp partition and run it inside a virtual machine.

Edit: when you do start the Windows partition inside VMWare Fusion, install the VMWare Tools utility that comers with VMWare. There's a menu selection in VMWare for this ("Install VMWare Tools"). The installation of Windows will then run better with VMWare, and you'll have access to VMWare settings from within Windows.

activate vista in boot camp first... then run the partition in fusion, make sure vmware tools are installed (restart to be sure), and then activate vista in fusion
