Windows Vista Home Edition

If I buy the Vista Home OEM edition for my new iMac is everything okay with legal issues? Is it okay for running it under emulation?

Edit: Actually I just realised I won't be needing parellels and will only be using BootCamp so it should be fine.

Does this mean that Vista Home Premium is ok under Boot Camp?

I've just had a 'Do'h' moment when I bought Vista Home Premium to run under Parallels, and realise that I shouldn't.....

However, my question is can I upgrade my XP virtual machine in Parallels to Vista Home Premium (I have the upgrade version). i.e. can it technically be done - even if it's against the licence?

If so - can I then use the online facility to upgrade it to the Ultimate edition (gnash! I don't want to have to do this, but if it's the only way to avoid having wasted my money.....)?

If all of that fails, I'll wait until Leopard arrives and use Boot Camp.... That IS ok isn't it?

I think this will answer your question. And yes, installing Home Premium under Boot Camp and running it natively is perfectly compliant with the EULA.

Bootcamp - yes.
Virtualization - no (only with Ultimate).

I've heard that before but it says home and basic. So is ultimate it. Or what about business. Can I run business also or only ultimate in emulation?
