Ok, first off, forgive me...this questions is in relation to a Dell laptop. Sorry, but it's a friends and I'm a mac guy - don't want to go hunt down a "windows forum" if I can get the help here...
A friend of mine is having issues connecting to her wireless network (shared with an upstairs neighbor, with permission). The network shows up fine in her list of available networks, but when she clicks to connect, she's never prompted for a password. Every other network she tries prompts her for a password (if locked), and I had no problem connecting to her network on my powerbook. Every time she clicks on it, she gets an error that says something like "this network can no longer be found. it may be out of range or no longer active..."
Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this?
She's running XP and hasn't had issues elsewhere. Just this one particular network.
