when i put my imac into standby in windows, (which i wont do now anymore) i would bring it out of stand by, every other row of pixels was white and the other normal going up and down the screen, is this a boot camp issue? also extended display via the mini dvi port dosent work correctly in windows ethier, it just makes my screen 800x600 with not icons or taskbar and the ext monitor dosent even show display.

if windows itself doesnt have this problem (and it doesn't), u bet its bootcamp or hardware driver's problem.

There's a kludge floating around to get the miniDVI to VGA adapter working in Windows that requires removal of one of the pins. I have yet to find out which pin, so I haven't tried it. :p
