In theory, yes. But you'll have a hard time finding all of the driver's you'll need, and may find that many things, including airport, do not work.

I think that if you want to boot camp your Mac you're going to need to bite the bullet and install Leopard. Bootcamp Beta is no longer available from Apple.

The only other way to install XP is to purchase a product like Parallels or VMWare, but if you're going to spend the money for them you may as well go the Leopard route.

Amazon.com has it for $20 less than the Apple Store, plus free shipping. I would recommend that path anyway, as boot camping with Leopard is incredibly painless (easier than installing Windows on a regular PC).

You can run VirtualBox, which is free:

I'm not sure how it compares with Parallels or Fusion, but it's free and if you have a copy of Windows lying around, it's at least worth a try. I had Office 2007 working absolutely fine on my MBP. Don't expect to run games on it though, as I believe it doesn't have 3D support. I also encountered a few other issues, mainly regarding handling USB devices, but it was free, so I'm not complaining :).

Hope that helps :).
