Hey,

I have always virtualized Windows XP by setting up a bootcamp partition under parallels. Now that I formatted my mac and bought parallels 4.0 do you think of any reason why I would simply use parallels and not create a bootcamp partition but simply a virtual image of XP?

i know certain features do not work when virtualizing bootcamp but can you think of other minors?

Thank you

I use Parallels (not 4.0) with a virtual image of XP and it works great.

Yep, I too don't think there is a compelling enough reason to have BootCamp'ed install of XP unless you need to boot into BootCamp for reasons like playing demanding games that don't work well within Parallels.
