Canada, In an igloo obviously.
I am wondering for when I get my 2.0 alu MB... Which preforms best on the MacBook?

I realize that XP is obviously less intensive, but I do like having the newest and "best looking" OS. Is vista at all slow or laggy on a 2.0 MB compared to XP?

And also, I am sure someone will ask, I am able to get vista from my school and I have a currently unused copy of XP so I am not pirating D=<.

Both will work fine depending on your needs
you shouldn't encounter any problems
I would suggest upgrading your RAM for either

Some are turned off of Vista for a variety of reasons
But I run it with no problems (other than it is... well... Windows)

If you don't really need Vista... I would say just stay with XP until Windows 7 comes out

Thanks, but I have access to either for free... So I think I might just go with Vista

I run XP Pro. SP3 on both my Macbook (4GB) and iMac (3GB) and both run great using Boot Camp. In OS X, I use Fusion and both run OK - just a little laggy at times (more so on the iMac). I split the RAM evenly between X and Windows, BTW. In all honesty, my iMac runs Windows better than any PC I've owned. I'm not a fan of Vista, however... but that's a personal preference. Vista is the entire reason that I left PCs for a Mac, anyway. :D
