I think this is spam, but in case it isn't...

Vista and XP are bootable on your Mac. If you use Parallels or VMWare I believe anything newer than Windows95 will work.

so your saying that any windows OS CD will woek if ill boot it, but when i also went at myer i saw many different kinds and prices

As far as I'm aware you can install

XP both home & professional ( these must be at least sp2 )

Vista home basic, home premium , business or ultimate ( not sure if these must be sp1 or later )


Oh & knave4567, those versions you linked to are retail copy's try looking into OEM versions of whatever OS you decide on

Another thing you should think about & look into is wether or not you want a 32 or 64bit OS ( this will depend on your Mac & specs )

If you run XP, Parallels and Fusion work great. Vista and it's flashy aero effects won't work on Parallels or Fusion. Boot Camp does a nice job with that though.
