winscp freezing

so ive been trying to put a theme onto my phone through winscp and every time i attempt it the connection fails and then it won't reconnect. i uninstalled it and am still having this problem. does anyone know what could be going wrong?

What's your screen's autolock set to?

1 minute....Ah now that i think of it I remember reading a while ago about changing it.
