iPhone Winterboard issue - quick fix?

Having an issue with winterboard. - I've got a recently jailbroken iPhone 5s running 7.0.4, everything seems to be working fine, aside from the fact that winterboard is not theming my icons. I've both manually put themes in through iFile, and have also downloaded through Cydia - they then appear IN winterboard, however when selected, my device resprings and nothing changes. I've tried turning summerboard on and off.

Quick fix? Much obliged.

and you've confirmed that the themes support ios 7

new icon sizes + names...

Check that you have the latest version of Winterboard which added support for the 5S.
