Just looking for some reviews of winterboard on iPhone 5. I've always been concerned about battery and RAM loss. I would like to get back into winterboard.

So, personal experiences or any reviews?

So far so good.
The battery and performances are fine. iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2
I really (really really really) hate Winterboard but I wanted a theme so bad that I could not resist... (the last time I had winterboard installed on my phone was back in 2008)

Hi,

Like the others I've had Winterboard installed since jail-breaking my iphone 5 on day one of the evasi0n release.

The only issue I and others had was that incoming notifications such as e mail and texts did not show on the lock screen, but that has now been sorted.

Ive not suffered from safe mode crashes etc and my battery life appears to be the same as when I was stock.

I use one theme called Z[ui.

If your wanting to theme out your iPhone then install it with confidence.

If your phone is working fine now then install Winterboard, tweak your phone the way you want to, and use it normally for few days. If you start experiencing slowdowns or decreased battery life then uninstall it.

Aside from the now-fixed notifications issue, the only thing I've noticed is that resprings are taking longer. This is, however, my own fault--with the iPhone 4 and iPad 1, I quickly learned to not leave large themes in the Themes.xxxx folder unless they were in use. I've just been lazy about moving them out to another folder (or zipping them up & sending them to Dropbox via iFile). When I am consistent about combining individual theme elements into my personal theme so there's fewer in the list, optimizing pngs, and getting stuff I'm not using out of there, my resprings speed back up considerably.

All that stuff doesn't affect the phone when it's in use though. Battery drain seems to be nonexistent, and there's no significant lag in actual operation.

Thanks for all of the reviews guys, I appreciate it.

I recently just downloaded winterboard and one of the themes I've had my eye on for a while, ayecon.

I sorta feel like I've had a bit of drain with my battery, but that could be imagined.
