Hey,
My iPod mini's hard drive blow a few weeks back. I was wondering if it is possible to extract something off it because i really need a video that is stored on it. The hard drive does not spin, when the ipod is reset it comes up with the Apple logo. Has anyone got any ideas????
Thank you in advance.

You can try putting it in the freezer over night and then see what you can get off of it. It doesn't fix it, but it may give you just enough time to get what you need. I don't know if this works for iPods, but it has been known to work with regular hard drives.

Thank you grapes. Still open to other suggestions though like more technological.

This is about as technological as you are going to get without paying an arm and a leg. There are companies that will take you hard drive and manually try to reconstruct the data, but it is going to cost you a lot.
