Hi all,

I purchased an iPad Pro to use as primary computer and am selling my MacBook.
I am wondering if I wipe all information off my MacBook is there a way to keep all the info on iCloud to still access with my iPad?

Have you tried logging out of your iCloud account on your MB? That should effectively disconnect it from your account... when you wipe your MB, your iCloud account and content will be unaffected.

Thanks I thought maybe if I do that iCloud will delete the data but so far so good. Thanks! :)

If you choose to reset the Mac to factory settings your iCloud content won’t be affected. I had a MacBook Pro and reset it several times.. all iCloud content was unaffected. As long as you don’t go into any iCloud-connected apps and delete anything then iCloud content won’t change if you wipe your devices.
