Wired Keyboard is a crazy fool - help!

Hi All, I have a A1243 wired silver keyboard. When I plug it into my iMac (2014) running Sierra 10.12.6, it does silly things like:

• The space bar producing TMTM"TM"TM"
• Command - S - turning on caps lock etc.

I've reset P-ram, etc and even run MacBooster virus checker with it plugged in - to no avail!

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Try blowing it out with compressed air. If that doesn't work, time for a new keyboard.

It turns out that my keyboard is allergic to spilled coffee. Go figure, right?

These covers fit better and are less intrusive than most.

I’m trying the lined cupboard for now. See if moisture has got to it. Then air!

It just looks so clean and perfect, I do t want to grow it!!
