Any good wired mouse recommendations that support button customizations? On M1 Max Monterey 12.2.1

You can customise the settings of almost any mouse using SteerMouse. Amazing piece of software well worth the price and much much better than the Logitech crap. I could not have switched from PC to Mac without this software. To answer your question, I use the Glorious Model O. It's an awesome mouse but only has a couple of side buttons and no left-right wheel click. But you can use SteerMouse to configure side buttons do to various things with key combinations.

Nice! Yeah I tried a couple programs but they weren’t recognizing the mouse buttons. I think it was because G Hub was installed? I’ll try SteerMouse.

Definitely make sure to completely uninstall G Hub (might need to Google it) to make sure it doesn't interfere.

Right on. I also have a Razer Basilisk that I like better. The buttons we’re bound on Windows and now I can’t seem to completely reset it on my Mac. I’ll try to get it to a PC and remove all button binding and try again.

Resetting buttons to send default signals sounds like the right approach. Then customize behavior at the MacOS level using SteerMouse.
