For those lucky folks who received their AirPods Max can someone let me know if you can use the included USB-C to lightning cable for a wired connection to MacBook Pro or iPad Pro USB-C port? I need a wired connection for composing in Logic Pro due to bluetooth latency and curious if the included cable will supply audio or if I need to buy the Lightning --> 3.5mm cable. Thanks - picking up my pair tomorrow at Apple store!

ok c'mon someone who has the Max in hand. 2 minute test to see if included cable carries audio from headphones to MacBook or iPad or if only for charging.

I just tried to connect it to my iPad Pro USB-C port and the charging light went on but then turned off. Not sure if it had enough output to power it. I went to Settings and it said they were disconnected. The cable seems like it's just for charging. I have a Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter coming in today too but can't use that on the iPad Pro. Don't see why I'd need to and I'd be fine with only hard-wiring it to my laptop/desktop.
