Anyone utilize any wireless broadband cards that fit the ExpressCard/34 slot? Also any good experiences with wireless broadband carriers? Most of my travels would be to areas in the Midwest. (tried looking through Sprint/Nextel and Verizon's sites but wanted to get first hand experiences).

Wireless Cards

This might help.

Take a look at the manufactuer of the cards, if OPTION is a candidate

then take a look at their site OPTION.de or their partner site novamedia

where you can buy the drivers. I know this is a less than cheap choice

but has the huge advantage of being able to take one card out and put in

another from a different network, they give you a demo so you can try it

Hope this helps

Thank you, englishspark. Just went to novamedia's site. It definitely looks like a winner. Their card alone is approx. 339 euros or $459. Of course, the U.S. only supports EDGE and GPRS which cuts the download/upload speed by 2/3rds.
I will have to see what I can dig out from domestic US carriers also.
Appreciate the assistance on this, thank you!
